New single – Bonfire Night released November 2022
Helen and Lewis released their new single Bonfire Night in November 2022. Helen wrote the tune as part of a collaborative podcast project by composer and pianist, Andrew Fisher. Inspired by the given words ‘the bonfire’ Helen was tasked with writing a tune that captured the essence of autumnal get-togethers.
The recording of it is a bit of a departure from previous recordings, in that it features a larger production and more intricate arrangement.
The irregular rhythms are inspired by the unpredictable flickering of flames and the bright major key brings to mind the convivial ambience of sharing heat, light and merriment around the bonfire.
